CBS Fall Lineup
Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 7:32AM The Unit has been canceled. I am hoping it shows up on USA or FX for at least one more season. Too bad, this was one of the few shows on TV that wasn't about Police Detectives, Doctors or Lawyers. Gary Unmarried and Old Christine have been renewed. And the NCIS spinoff, NCIS Los Angeles, will air right after the original NCIS on Tuesday Nights. Rules of Engagement is coming back as a mid-year replacement for the second year in a row.

Monday is TV night in my house. Big Bang has got to be the funniest show on TV. It's backed up by Two and a Half Men (also extremely funny) and How I Met your Mother, which is worth watching for just for the barney character played by Neil Patrick Harris.
I wish Rules of Engagement had been picked up for a full season.. oh well
Tuesday will have NCIS - excellent show, but I'm betting against the spin-off
Wednesday - Garry Unmarried is hilarious and under-rated.
Looks like the rest of the week will be spent watching movies and playing X-Box. I really wish someone would put a bullet in Survivor.
The Unit was one of my favorites, very disappointing. As for survivor, I promised my wife I would watch it with her a few seasons back... I also wish someone would put a bullet in it before I but a bullet in my TV. (dont tell my wife :)"
I agree that Big Bang Theory is hilarious! I also like Gary Unmarried. I'm glad they were both renewed. I hope The Unit ends up someplace with new episodes. In HD of course!

Bad move CBS for canceling THE UNIT -- without a doubt, it and 24 are the two shows that I and my family look forward to watching each week -- hope it comes back somewhere, anywhere!
A real bummer for the UNIT. That was one of my favorite shows.
Here is anoth vote for The Unit. I thought that this season was really good. If they would get it off of 10PM Sunday night maybe more people would watch it.

Awww, come on! You (HT Guys) get me hooked on The Unit a couple years ago (podcast #213) and now it's canceled!!! I am depressed. ;)
Seriously, though. CBS has made a huge mistake in canceling it. Unfortunately these days, ratings rule the roost. Boo on CBS. So long, Snake Doc ... Alpha Team will be sorely missed.
