I just received an email today from the Pandora team alerting me to some new features for paid subscribers of the Pandora service. Pandora is announcing the Pandora One Service which includes:

• High quality streaming - High Quality 192 Kbps audio. About the only knock I had against Pandora was that the audio quality wasn't higher. They have addressed that in this update.
• Pandora desktop application - They have improved their desktop application and brought it more in line with the iPhone/iPod Touch application. (Requires Adobe Air 1.5.1 and Flash 9.0.115.0)
• Extended Listening Time - This hasn't changed but you get five hours of listening without requiring interaction with the service.

You get al this for $36 a year. I love Pandora! I have created about ten personalized stations and with the quick mix feature I have a real mix station. You can do all this with the free version but you get ads and you don't get the higher quality audio.
